HMB is thrilled to welcome Bradford C. Johnson to our team as our new Director of Traffic and Planning. Brad has a tremendous amount of experience in traffic engineering, forecasting and transportation planning studies. He spent 16 years with CDM Smith, most recently as a senior project manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Kentucky. Brad currently serves as director of the Kentucky section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers. He and his wife, Laura, live in Lexington. Welcome to Andrew Hildesheim, HMB's newest team member! Andrew is an EIT who graduated in 2014 from the University of Louisville's J.B. Speed School of Engineering. He spent the last year working with GEM Engineering and just joined HMB's Highway Division in New Albany, Indiana this week. Welcome Andrew!
HMB is happy to welcome our newest team member, Abigail Browder, EIT. Abigail began work today in HMB’s Structures Division. A native of Evansville, IN, she holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a minor in engineering management and math from the University of Evansville. HMB is excited to welcome Jon Patrick Michael as a Graduate Engineer in the Nashville, TN office. Jon recently graduated from Tennessee State University with a Bachelors in Civil Engineering. Jon has coursework experience in reinforced concrete design, wastewater engineering, hydrology, soils and foundation engineering, highway engineering, transportation engineering, environmental engineering and hydraulic engineering. HMB is excited to welcome Rachel Henry to the New Albany, IN office as a Project Manager and Engineer. Rachel has 12 years of experience and is knowledgeable of all aspects of highway design projects, including lighting and signal design, right of way acquisition, utility relocation, storm sewer design, erosion and sediment control, maintenance of traffic plans and ITS programs. Rachel is a graduate of the University of Evansville and is a licensed engineer in Indiana, Tennessee and Florida. Welcome to the team Rachel!
HMB was honored to welcome Patrick Eggemeier to the Highway Design Division today as an Engineer In Training (EIT). Patrick is not an unfamiliar face around here as he was an intern for HMB last summer. Patrick graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering this year and now joins our team full-team. Welcome Patrick!!
We are honored to welcome Phillip Howard to the HMB family. Phillip joins the Roadway Design Division in Frankfort, KY as a Project Manager. Prior to joining HMB, Phillip worked for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet for 25 years in a variety of areas, such as construction, maintenance, highway design and materials. Phillip received a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky and is a licensed professional engineer.
We are happy to welcome Byron Johnson to the HMB family. Byron will serve as the Regional Office Manager in the new Madisonville, KY branch office. Prior to joining HMB, Byron was with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (District 2 - Madisonville, KY) for 25 years. His most recent position was Transportation Engineer Supervisor for District 2 in Madisonville where he served as Project Manager and Section Supervisor. Byron received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky and is a licensed professional engineer.
Kerry Odle joins HMB as the new Water and Wastewater Engineering Division Manager. Prior to joining HMB, Kerry served as a Partner and Director of CMW, Inc.’s Civil Engineering and Surveying Division. In that role, Kerry oversaw all civil engineering projects involving utilities, industrial parks, surveys, subdivisions and road projects. He also served as project manager on numerous water and sanitary sewer projects throughout Central, Northern and Southeastern Kentucky. His 35+ years of work experience includes all phases of a project from preliminary engineering and funding to construction administration and close out. Kerry received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Memphis State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in Kentucky.
