Joe Grider has over 32 years of experience providing engineering and construction services throughout Kentucky. Over the years, Joe has been responsible for the supervision of field data collection, engineering design and plan preparation for land development and public infrastructure projects. His design experience includes storm sewer design, inlet spacing calculations, inlet capacity analysis, storm pipe analysis, storm water management design, watershed analysis, detention basin design, emergency spillway design and outlet structure design. Joe also has extensive experience with designing gravity sanitary sewer collection lines, sanitary sewer pump stations, force mains, the grading, drainage and erosion control design for residential and commercial streets. Joe currently serves as the Principal In Charge over HMB’s Water and Wastewater division. In this role, he provides coordination between HMB and the client over project schedules, budgets and goals. He also provides quality assurance and quality control of plans and reports completed by HMB’s personnel. Joe received a civil engineering degree from the University of Kentucky and is licensed professional engineer in Kentucky and a licensed land surveyor in Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, and West Virginia.
