This project consisted of a new interchange on I-85 approximately two miles north of the existing interchange with US 29 and a connector road between Andrews Road and US 29. These improvements were constructed in order to facilitate development of a new industrial park to be located near the interstate. The interchange is a diamond with a loop in the southwest quadrant. The crossroad (Andrews Road) is a four lane divided roadway on new location. US-29 was also widened to accommodate left and right turn lanes onto Andrews Road. A channel change was required in the southwest quadrant in order to construct the ramps.
