Steve Rice serves as the Stream Restoration and Permitting Division Manager. Steve has 40 years of experience in the field of aquatic and terrestrial biology. Steve was the primary aquatic biologist on at least 45 projects while with the Department of Environmental Analysis and participated in aquatic field sampling and lab identification of aquatic organisms and plants on several others. Steve has been involved with over 20 natural stream channel design project throughout his career. He has performed numerous ecological investigations in streams and wetlands throughout the region and authored or co-authored numerous ecological impact analysis documents. He also has experience in project management, data collection, conceptual design, 404 and 401 permitting.
