UK College of Engineering Scholarship
In an effort to encourage and stimulate achievement, to promote the field of engineering, and as a demonstration of our strong commitment to the educational process, HMB Professional Engineers has established a scholarship program with the University of Kentucky.
Scholarship Amount
$2,500 + Paid Internship | Deadline March 15th, 2022
Selection
Under the program, a student in the College of Engineering will be allocated a $2,500 scholarship. While HMB may review applications, they will not independently select the recipient.
Qualifications
The recipient must meet the following qualifications:
- A major in Civil Engineering
- Achieved junior status
- Demonstrates academic excellence
- Has good communication and interpersonal skills
Preference will be given to students from Franklin County, Kentucky and its contiguous counties. The scholarship will be renewable for a second year only.
The recipient will also be required to complete a paid summer internship with HMB during the summer after receiving the scholarship.
Important
You must mention that you are applying for the “HMB Scholarship” at the top of your scholarship application.
