Frankfort Based High School Seniors Scholarship
To encourage and stimulate achievement, promote the field of engineering, and as a demonstration of its strong commitment to the educational process, HMB Professional Engineers, Inc. established a scholarship program in 1988 to provide an academic scholarship for deserving graduates of Frankfort, Franklin County, and Western Hills High Schools. Under the program, a graduate of each high school will be allocated a $500 scholarship.
Scholarship Amount
$500 + Paid Internship | Deadline March 31st
Qualifications
The recipient must meet the following qualifications:
- Must major in civil engineering
- Demonstrates academic excellence
- Has good communication and interpersonal skills
- Preference will be given to students who attend a Kentucky School
- Preference will be given to students from Franklin County, Kentucky and its contiguous counties
The scholarship will be renewable for a second year only. HMB will also allow the recipients to participate in a paid internship in our office during school breaks in order to gain valuable experience in the engineering field.
